What is RSS?

RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing Web content. Users subscribe (anonymously) to RSS feeds from Web sites that interest them. The feeds indicate to the users what is new since the last time they checked the RSS feed, without having to visit the Web site.

Why subscribe to an RSS Feed?
