Don't Lend Your Car To Just Anyone
It is important to make sure that when you lend your vehicle to someone they have a valid driver's license and they are a safe driver. If the person has an accident with your vehicle the claim will be made on your policy. An at fault accident can affect your policy for the next 5 to 10 years depending on the company that you are insured with even if you were not the driver. If you lend your vehicle to an unlicensed person and they have an accident you may not be covered for the damage to your vehicle and any liability associated with it. As the owner of the vehicle you could be sued for damages arising from any accident that your vehicle is involved in.
