| CHILD CAR SEATS – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Car accidents kill more children in Canada than any other injury. Each year over 60 children die in car crashes and every day another two are hospitalized due to injuries from a crash.
The most important thing you can do to protect your children is to choose the right car or booster seat and use it correctly on EVERY ride. As your child grows their car seat requirements will change. The Transport Canada web site has an excellent overview of the stages your child will go through and the proper car or booster seat for each stage. The site includes tips on installation and choosing the right seat for your child.

It is also important to keep in mind that each province has its own regulations regarding car and booster seats. It is very important to check the requirements for every province you may visit, even if you are “just passing through”.
