Who is Trafalgar Insurance?

Since 1993, Trafalgar Insurance Company of Canada has provided personal car and home insurance products to meet the needs of people with good driving habits. In September of 2011, AXA and AXA Pacific Insurance Companies were purchased by Intact Financial Corporation. On renewal, your policy will be renewed with Trafalgar Insurance. We believe your interests are well served with this transition.

What payment options are available with Trafalgar Insurance?

Monthly Pay – No fee, equal monthly payments withdrawn directly from your bank account.
Three Pay – Payment can be made by cheque, Visa or MasterCard 3 easy installments (1st payment due on renewal, 2nd in 3 months, 3rd in 6 months).
One Pay – Payment can be made by cheque, Visa or MasterCard.

How do I change my payment plan?

Do I need to change/sign anything if I want to change my payment plan or banking information?

Depending on the change, you may need to complete a new payment authorization form. A copy of this form can be found in the forms section of our website. You will also find a copy of the credit card authorization form in this section.

If I need to report a claim, who should I call?

Why did my premium change?

There are a number of factors that contribute to a change in premium, such as annual kilometres, commute distance, years licensed, alarm discounts and more. We recommend you speak to one of our Service Advisors to ensure your policy details are up to date.

How will I know if there have been any changes to my coverage?
